Privacy Policy

MathMe ("we", "our", "the App") takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information across all platforms (iOS, Android, and Web).

1. Information We Collect

1.1. Account Information (Optional)

If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive:

Email address (from your Google or Apple account)
Display name (if provided by the auth provider)
Unique account identifier

Sign-in is optional but required for cross-device sync and Duel mode.

1.2. User-Generated Data

When you use the App, we store:

Nickname (chosen by you)
Game statistics (scores, accuracy, problems solved, streaks)
Achievement progress
Coin balance and XP
App preferences and settings

1.3. Automatically Collected Data

With your consent we collect usage analytics to improve the App. When you are signed in, this data is associated with your account; when you use the App as a guest, it is tied only to an anonymous identifier stored on your device:

App usage patterns (sessions, game modes played)
Technical data (device model, OS version, app version, browser type)
Crash reports and error logs (mobile apps, sent only if you have agreed to analytics)

1.4. Notifications

If you allow notifications and are signed in, we store a push notification token for your device, your device time zone, the app language and your notification settings (on/off, daily reminder time), so that reminders arrive in your language, at the time you chose, and stop when you turn them off. Guests receive reminders that are scheduled locally on the device; nothing is sent to our servers for them.

Display relevant, non-intrusive advertisements

3. Data Storage and Processing

Your data is stored in two locations:

Locally on your device — all game data works offline
Supabase cloud (if signed in) — for cross-device sync and multiplayer. Supabase servers are hosted in the EU/US with encryption at rest and in transit.

4. Third-Party Services

MathMe uses the following third-party services:

Supabase — authentication, database, real-time features
Google Analytics (GA4) — usage analytics, enabled only after you agree
Google AdMob — advertisements in the free version (GDPR/UMP consent flow included)
Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In — authentication providers
Firebase Crashlytics — crash reporting (mobile only)
RevenueCat — subscription management for MathMe Pro. It receives the purchase receipt from the App Store or Google Play and an anonymous app user identifier, so your subscription can be validated and restored on your devices. Neither MathMe nor RevenueCat receives your card or bank details — payments are processed entirely by Apple or Google.

Subscription data. If you subscribe to MathMe Pro we store your subscription status (plan, active/expired, renewal date) together with your account so that Pro features unlock on every device you sign in on. This data is kept for as long as your account exists and is deleted with it.

We do NOT sell, trade, or transfer your personal information to any party not listed above.

5. Advertising

The free version displays non-intrusive banner and interstitial ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect:

Device advertising identifier
General location (country level)
Ad interaction data

For users in the EU/EEA, a consent dialog (UMP) is shown before ad-related data collection. You can change your consent at any time in App settings.

6. Children's Privacy

MathMe is a general-audience app intended for users aged 13 and older. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

The App contains no chat, no media sharing and no user-to-user messaging
If you are under the age of digital consent in your country, use the App only with the involvement of a parent or guardian
If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us at mathme@mtnt-solutions.com and we will delete the account and its data

7. Offline Functionality

All single-player modes work fully offline. No data is transmitted when offline. When you go online, only sync-related data is sent if you are signed in.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

View your data in the Profile/Statistics section
Delete your account and all associated data (Profile → Settings → Delete Account)
Use the App without signing in (limited features)
Decide about analytics: the App asks on first launch where the law requires consent, and you can turn analytics and crash reporting on or off at any time in Settings → Privacy & Data
Control ad tracking with your device settings (App Tracking Transparency on iOS, advertising ID settings on Android)
Turn notifications off in Settings; server-side reminders stop for your account
Withdraw ad consent (EU users, via UMP dialog)

9. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. Anonymous analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

10. Data Security

We protect your data with:

HTTPS encryption for all network communication
Row Level Security (RLS) on database
Secure authentication via OAuth 2.0
No storage of passwords (handled by Google/Apple)

11. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be communicated through an App update or website notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
